Overview
4 Days Introducing Tanzania Safari itinerary takes you to three of the most famous national parks in Tanzania: Tarangire and Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. You will see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. You will also have the opportunity to see some of Tanzania’s most beautiful landscapes, including the Ngorongoro Crater and the vast plains of the Serengeti. Staying at lodges throughout the safari ensures that you will have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Day by Day
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
- Morning: Depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
- Afternoon: Game drive in Tarangire to explore its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, and various bird species.
- Evening: Check-in at Marera Valley Lodge (https://www.bougainvilleagroup.com/marera-valley-lodge/ https://www.bougainvilleagroup.com/marera-valley-lodge/) for an overnight stay.
- Lunch; Dinner
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
- Morning: After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park.
- Afternoon: Enjoy a game drive in the central Serengeti, known for its resident wildlife and large predators.
- Evening: Overnight stay at a Embalakai Authentic camp (https://embalakaicamps.com/ https://embalakaicamps.com/) in the Serengeti.
- Breakfast; Lunch, and Dinner
Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Full Day: Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti, perhaps witnessing the Great Migration (seasonal) if your visit aligns with it.
- Late afternoon: After lunch at a picnic site, you will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the edge of the crater, the caldera opens up before you. Over 25,000 animals live in this approximately 20 km wide crater. You will spend the night at a campsite directly on the crater’s edge with fantastic views over the caldera.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour—Arusha
- Rise and shine! After breakfast at daybreak you drive down into the crater. Inside the world’s largest caldera, you will see a diversity of wildlife ranging from black rhinos, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, lions and leopards to elephants and mountain reedbucks in the forests on the slopes. You might also see buffaloes, spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an intensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and travel back to Arusha where you will arrive in the early evening.

Passenger Information
- Passengers should bring only duffle bags safaris{not suitcases}
- All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
- Baggage on domestic flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
- Passengers arriving to Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
- Tourist Visa will be obtained at the entry points, but it is advisable to double check before travelling to Tanzania.
